I'm planning on purchasing a 2001 Ford Escape XLS. It has a V6 engine, 2wd, about 116,000 miles, originally bought from the dealer and serviced there as well... I'm basically in LOVE with this car, and she's selling it to me for about $4000. Is it possible

These are basically good dependable vehicles, the mileage is low average for a TEN year old car.
If engine and transmission work fine, then it's worth considering.. But , I'd only pay $4000, if it has near new tires all around, brake service recently
