Meanwhile, who is that Uo-chan's hanging out with? Is she c-r-a-z-y in love? In a bonus feature, Hana-chan's past is finally disclosed! Come join the party in the 9th volume of the super-popular Fruits Basket, the world's most popular shojo manga! Review: This volume was a little better than the last one. None of the new characters introduced were overly irritating. This volume consisted of short stories, some of which I hope will be built upon in future volumes. In the first story, Yuki meets the people who will serve under him when he’s student council president and one of them reminds him of his brother. In the next story, Uo-chan falls for a boy who reminds her of Tohru. The end of this story was particularly interesting. The third story covers Hana-chan’s life before she became friends with Tohru. It wasn’t too interesting but I guess it was Hana-chan’s turn to get a back story. The next story concern Kyo, Shishou, and the dark future the Sohma’s have planned for Kyo. The last story is a set up for the next volume when Momiji announces that they are all going to the Sohma family summer home. Category, Manga| Link this entry? | Comments (0) |
